Tarocco oranges are the most popular of citrus varieties.
These oranges have a thin orange skin with red hues, inside the pulp, without seeds, is orange yellow, with more or less reddish pigmentations intense, depending on the time of ripening which goes from December to March.
Generally the characteristics of this variety of oranges are not present in December, but as early as January you can begin to appreciate its characteristic strawberry flavor.
The orange pulp has many nutritious qualities in important doses, first of all vitamin C.
This typical Sicilian blood orange, juicy and with an excellent flavor, is perfect for making juices .
